Merton was first shown as an adult at the Southern Counties show in March 2006, where he won his first Premier Certificate. In 19 shows, he has won 6 Premier Certificates, 7 Grand Certificates, 4 Reserve Grand Certificates, 5 Imperial Grand Premiership Certificates, 3 Reserve Imperial Certificates and 14 Best of Breeds. He has won Best British Shorthair Neuter 5 times and Overall Best British Shorthair once. At his only Supreme visit, in 2007, he won his first UK Grand Certificate and Best of Breed, making the top 5 British Neuters in the show.

At the Somerset Cat Club Show, she was awarded a Grand Challenge Certificate, a Challenge Certificate, two firsts and a second in side classes and a Best of Breed.
